Development of Rice Husk Power Plants Based on Clean Development Mechanism: A Case Study in Mekong River Delta, Vietnam

In this research, we planned and conducted estimations for developing a pilot-scale Clean Development Mechanism (CDM) project group plant activities in the Vietnam electricity/energy sector. The overall aim of paper is to assess power generation potential rice husk plants Mekong Delta. We intend set up energy balance flowchart whole River Delta year 2021 suggest policies that can be used unused husk, avoid having them pollute rivers canals. put forward safe environmentally friendly solution thoroughly minimize current serious pollution canals caused by increasing quantity husk. results are based on estimation electricity development with capacity 11 MW per plant, including carbon dioxide emission reductions (CERs) CER credits, along their economic criteria (NPV, B/C, IRR), both W/CDM W/O CDM.
